My friend and associate was over the house after a production job we were on, and heard some advertisement talk on Shady45 Internet radio for the movie Adjustment Bureau. We both have had an interest in seeing this film, so being restless from working, and desiring a much needed break from the office, we ordered some tickets online, and after a couple showers were out the door to the Cinemark Movie Complex. After arriving at the new XD Cinemark Movie Theatre, the first thing I notice is the gigantic concave screen and the faux leather seats. This is my first time in an XD theatre, and I was really digging this place.
I really enjoyed this movie from a writing standpoint first and foremost. Directed by George Nolfi. Starring Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Natalie Carter. The affair between a politician and a ballerina is affected by mysterious forces keeping the lovers apart. Matt’s character David Norris is a courageous character that you love to cheer on, while Emily plays the most charming counterpart and supporting actor. The movie has a brilliant open, and the action keeps the moving going well, with an inspirational type of ending, in which I always seem to favor.
This movie lends you to really think about your daily life occurrences and are they really just coincidences, without going to far into the plot and cause a spoiler, I do believe that is movie touches upon some ideas on living that may be very close to the truth. Go and check out the movie and see what thoughts swirl into your mind, or wait and catch it on Blu Ray (see below). That is one thing that holds true in our daily living, is that we are always posed with some degree of decision in which this movie demonstrates quite well.
